Office Refurbishment and Branding | Ampthill 2009 - 2012
Working for an established local Housing Association, Kyle Smart Associates Limited were asked initially to provide a feasibility study for the remodelling of their main office reception areas, to assist in way finding and to provide new staff and visitor facilities.
Later broadened, the brief developed to also review the whole office experience with alternative masterplans for the floor layouts and involved extensive consultation on the day to day running of the offices.
The Client vacated the premises during Autumn 2011 and construction work was begun with the scheme completing in February 2012. The works have provided a modern refurbished and rebranded workspace, featuring transparent meeting rooms and views from the reception through to the offices beyond.
The scheme also provides new staff facilities including kitchens and a shower facility, with reorganised storage and services that include a new air conditioning system serving both floors to overcome the limitations experienced within the previous office layout.
