The scheme, at an early feasibility stage, seeks to provide a modern parish community centre in the shadow of a grade one listed church within the Canon's Park conservation area.
The scheme is part of a long term enhancement strategy for the facilities provided by the church and will replace the existing ageing community hall built in the 1960's. New meeting rooms, parish offices, support facilities, storage and a flexible large main hall, combined with new landscaping and reorganised car parking all seek to enhance the surroundings of the existing church and conservation area.
