Adeyfield is a challenging redevelopment of a hillside site, currently occupied by two existing detached houses.
 
Set on a prominent sloping site with views across parkland to the rear, it was identified early on that the building needed to address the street, while also taking full opportunity of the views afforded to the side and rear.
 
Following a number of delicate pre-consultation meetings with the local Planning Department, the current scheme arrives at a two step solution. A modern interpretation of the house form faces onto the street, while more relaxed forms and detailing on the sides and rear are able to break away from the constraints imposed elsewhere.

The scheme has been submitted for Planning, and is one of a number being designed for Developers in the local area.
