Steven studied Architecture at the University of Cape Town, and graduated with a B. Arch in 2001, having previously graduated with a National Higher Diploma in Interior Design from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 1990. He worked in South Africa for 15 years as a Project Architect, where he oversaw the successful completion of many buildings, including a medium sized sustainable office building and a luxury 7-storey 91 unit block of flats.       

He has a wealth of experience in the construction industry, and a keen interest in detailing and architectural tectonics.

Steven joined Kyle Smart Associates in 2022 and has been working on technical drawing packages and detailing.
