Alterations to the entrance of the Church Hall at SS Alban and Stephen Church in St. Albans.

A new structure was designed to create a clear span over the new glazed entrance way which supports a welsh slate wall which helps to define the entrance as well as creating a stronger relationship with the street.

On the ground floor a café space with amenities and flexible meeting spaces has been created so that Parishioners can gather after Mass. On the first floor new toilet facilities gathering space and a new kitchen for the church hall were incorporated into the overall design. The two floors have been linked by a new glazed lift.
