The scheme designed for St Albans City & District Council has been developed in a former garage sites at the land to rear of St Leonards Crescent (Sandridge).
The development creates 4no 1 bed apartments and 4no 2 bed apartments, all affordable rented housing units.
The site has been designed to have 3 distinct areas; the parking and service area to the front and the development itself located centrally with communal gardens located at the rear.
Key to the success of this project was ensuring that access to the public footpath which runs through the site was maintained throughout the process.
The scheme was completed in 2019.
