The recently completed two storey church hall annexe to the Grade II listed St. Thomas More RC Church in Swiss Cottage for the Diocese of Westminster, was designed to provide much needed additional activity, teaching and meeting room spaces.

Due to site constraints, the proposal also allowed for step free access from the narthex of the adjacent church, that was previously separated by difficult to negotiate steps. The annexe has its own entrance and can operate independently from the church or as one.

The building intentionally adopts a modern look to compliment the brutal 60’s design of the Listed church. The use of large glass facades ensures that a maximum amount of light enters the building, while the two-storey religious themed stained glass window, ties the building back to the adjacent church.
