The Practice philosophy is that each project is specific to the needs of the Client: we pride ourselves in LISTENING to Clients. Since establishing the Practice, a variety of work has been undertaken, ranging from Sustainable Social Housing, Estate Regenerations, Community Architecture, Private Housing, Flexi Care, Supported Housing and Assisted Independent Living Housing for Older Persons.
We firmly believe that projects benefit from clarity in design and in communicating the design to the people who are going to live and work in the buildings we design and to the stakeholders affected by the process.
This is achieved by listening to clients and stakeholders, through discussions, workshops and presentations - throughout the whole design and construction process - explaining in layman terms so that all can understand what is being proposed. We work with tenant and client groups to ensure that what we design is what the building users want - if not the case we will always be fighting a battle - this is achieved through careful consideration through:
